Mayya is an artist, illustrator, and designer based in Munich, where she lives with her partner and two children.
Originally trained as a mathematician, she later followed her deep creative impulse and studied at an art college, discovering her true passion for visual expression.
Her professional path has included publishing, graphic design, patterns and advertising, with her artwork featured in greeting cards, branding, and tourism projects. Eventually, she turned to freelance work, where her practice became more personal and illustrative.
Mayya’s creative process is guided by intuition and emotion. She combines digital and traditional techniques, often working with mixed media and collage to create expressive, layered images. In her free time, she experiments with acrylics, oil, and watercolor — exploring color, texture, and mood with spontaneity and playfulness.
